Caregiver Respite Programme

AWWA is a social service organisation, serving over 6,000 of the disadvantaged across life stages. We provide education and disability support for children and youth with special needs, health and social services for vulnerable seniors, assistance to low-income families and support for caregivers.

Launched on 1 May 2016, AWWA Caregiver Service (Disability) aids in addressing the needs of caregivers of persons with disability and/or special needs, from childhood to adulthood. With the help of volunteers, the programme supports caregivers of persons with disability and/or special needs with respite care through home visits and centre-based activities.

Through this event, volunteers will better understand children with disabilities and the needs of caregivers and get to interact with them through activities such as clay figurines making (14th Oct) and drumming therapy (21st Oct). Sign up today to volunteer with us!
